Sky Over The Pines is a plein air painting that was painted late afternoon from the lower end
of South Upper Truckee Road in South Lake Tahoe. The light was very intense
because Echo Summit was starting to cast a long shadow in the surrounding
area but there was still plenty of light to the east.
